This is going to be my first time at 3rd Coast and I'm getting uber excited!

I loved the thread about things to bring. Very useful! Does anyone have any other info that might be useful to a newbie?

hm....well, its good to know that when you arrive and register, there will probably still be some classes available to purchase and something might strike your fancy --this is how i got to take two of John Compton's workshops last year and they were among the best I've ever taken! However, you may want to keep your Sunday light (a morning workshop and an afternoon massage?) because you're going to be sore and tiiired...I didn't get as much as I could have normally out of my last class because i was beat --pushed myself too hard......

I'm only able to go for Saturday & Sunday, so I went ahead & booked myself up pretty good. Figured I'd take Monday off of work to recoup :) And maybe I'll need to schedule a massage....hmmmm....

Taking Monday off of work is a VERY good idea.

Keep the hotel number with you at all times so you can call the shuttle if you need to. Avoid the aggravation of trying to get the hotel number off of someone and freaking out because your awesome semi-private is about to begin in 10 minutes. You don't have to worry about it if you have your own vehicle of course.

If your feet are sensitive to cold, hard surfaces, bring a yoga mat for the classes at the main room in the Theater. The floor's basically stone and I like to wear my dance shoes for extensive dancing there. For heaven's sake, bring knee pads for any floor work. That schtuff hurts on bare knees.

Bring lots of money for the incredible shopping. Other than that, prepare yourself for an amazing experience. This is my third 3rd Coast and it's hands down my favorite event.
