The 1st thing we often need help with is ariport runs.... as many of the teachers arrive and leave on the same days... it makes us think reeeeeallleee hard about how to be in 5 or 6 places at one time.... Thinking about it is difficult - cloning ourselves is what we have come up with - but the $$ is the sticker there. Cloning is expensive!

Another time we clones is before the shows. We need ushers !!! Ushers must be tactfull, smilie, well spoken, diplomatic, organized and be able to think on their feetzes. AND of course Enthusiastic!!!! (That's not asking much is it?)

There will be other needs come up as time moves forward - we'll post'em as they do.

For now - pls post if you can help -

*days/time(s) when you will be at the event or in the area
*confirmation that you have a car (and a sense of direction or a GPS!)

    That's when I'm not in class of course! :-)

    Exact schedule is not finalized yet but I'll probably drive up Weds evening as I'm in the first class on Thursday. I'll be up there right through until the end of Silvia's class on Sunday.

    signed up for Thurs-Sun... various degrees of busy.. but also free time is available (as of right now)...

      locals with cars???....coming in from out of town with a car... and a good sense of direction???


      if there is anyone in particular you would like to pick up / drop off at the airport - --- now is the time to speak up. with so many teachers... we'd love to spread out the driving logistics.

      i'll be checking this thread next week to start making assignments.

        name: Kelela (Cheryl) Place
        at 3c: sat 9am thru show, sun 2-4
        car: yes, and i'm a local, and i have a gps, and live across the street from the airport.

        car-using options: btwn hotel & theatre during lunch sat, btwn hotel & theatre 4pm till showtime sat, to airport after show sat nite. from airport to 3c sun noonish, from 3c to airport after 4:15 sun.
        • oh! and Magically Delicious is a vw new beetle, so really only 1 other person can fit once big luggage is considered... or 2 ppl if it's just a small bag each.

          also, i'm not sure if my troupe is performing or not, so no clue how long i'll be available pre-show on sat.
          • there are no airport runs on saturday.... likely we can CERTAINLY put you and your cute car to good use sunday afternoon. everyone starts to head back then.

            please pencil that in.. i'll contact you w/ specifics that work w/ your schedule. THANK YA for offering your time!

              If you need me to make airport runs, hotel runs for dancers that forgot their stuff, or be a pie-eyed drummer like this year, or anything else, let me know.

                    • lol.. did someone spill the beans on my lack of cookinary skills? lol... no worries.. I can definately help with the car.. I have a new one too.. ok, new to me.. just got 2 weeks ago.. ;)p more luggage room than the jeepmobile.. as of now.. will also have the jeepage.. and could um make it available... to say zanny but talented teachs who want to run back and forth between hotel and venue...it has lots o milage, so long hauls not recommended... te he he.. see how i didn't narrow it down at all there... could be any of the scheduled teachs...

                        i will get specifics out to all parties regarding airport run offers in july. how is that for vague? life has crept up on me here as of late... and i am being 'more' careful of the deadlines i set for myself.

                        1) it's ONLY july.... plenty of time to take care of this.... BUT
                        2) it would be great to have it planned / committed / taken care of on paper...

                        i am meeting myself in the middle..... it's lovely to see me there! join me if you like??.... they are serving some lovely appetizers!


                        anyway.... a few more transport offers would be lovely - that way we don't run anyone ( or their car) ragged. wednesday and thursday incoming....... all outgoing trips are on sunday. if even one trip would work for you.... drop a note here. your offer will be wrapped with care in a beautiful gossamer ribbon ... and presented to a deserving teacher.

                        ok... i am off to Minnesota in the AM.... dancing in cooler temps... and a packed bag that weighs in at 49.5 pounds. TA DA!
