Mon, June 15, 2009 - 6:23 PMI do think that's where I was during the 1st workshop, Z. That was also my first exposure to tribal. I remember being completely blown away by the movement, the costumes, the music, well, just about everything. The group picture on the wall at Crescent Moon taken on that first Sunday by RAM always makes me nostalgic... :) -

Mon, June 22, 2009 - 1:16 PMI have '08 and '09 under my belt too ... however I first heard about 3rd Coast in May 2005 from the lovely Sharon Kihara when I rubbed shoulders with her after a Bellydance Superstars performance in Britain.
Missed 2006 coz I didn't get to Texas until the end of January ... missed 2007 coz I had no money! :-)
Looking forward to 2010 ... but I may not make every year after that because I'm applying to Law School so will again be in the "no money" boat! Haha! So I'm making the most of 2010.

Mon, June 22, 2009 - 3:59 PMalmost missed 2008.. found out about it over the holidays and got some classes others couldn't attend... signed up for 2009 and dragged my sistas with me... we are signed up for 2010 and my sistas are racing me to the venue...
we plan to keep on bringin it.. beyond 2010...
