what about using your brain? or your hands for a couple hours?

3rd Coast Tribal Festival Music IS a dancers best friend - understanding it and being able to work with it - be it canned or live is a skill we ALL need to develop and nurture.... check out our t 2 music classes this year at at 3C - they are meant for the DANCER and the MUSICIAN. Work with your music (or musician) to create BLISS on stage!

August Hoerr - Thursday Evening This high-spirited, interactive workshop addresses etiquette, effective communication onstage and off, and tips on how to successfully collaborate while being aware of everyone's interests. These fun exercises in creating strong entrances, transitioning tempos, and ending fabulously will all be accompanied by the (strains, wheezes, and mellifluous sounds of the) Accordion.

Learn to be comfortable in the world of Eastern rhythm by learning basic principles of rhythm that are universal to every culture and style. Work with or without percussion instruments - bring any and/or every percussion instrument you have access to, or just use your hands, feet, vocal cords, etc. Class will involve learning to break apart rhythm (basic and complex) so that no rhythm will be a mystery.
